Wayne Tate and his wife Rachel live in Fayetteville, N.C. where he serves as Pastor of Worship and Fine Arts at Manna Church. Wayne is the Director of the School of Worship at Manna Church where one of his greatest joys in ministry is mentoring worship leaders.
Wayne traveled for 12 years doing worship concerts and seminars around the world. Wayne and his wife Rachel and their children David, Rachel Lynn and Jordan, lived in Franklin,TN. most of that time. He has sung with singer/songwriter Darlene Zschech on several occasions, one being at the Dove awards in Nashville in 2000 singing “Shout To the Lord“ with Darlene, which was nominated for song of the year.
Some of his songs have been recorded by notable worship artists Ron Kenoly, Crystal Lewis, Alvin Slaughter, and various worship labels, including Integrity Music. He has recorded 7 solo CD's through the years, and has recently released a new CD entitled, “Praise Is.” As well, he has released a book revealing keys to building a healthy worship team called, “ The Worship Book”. Bob Sorge writes in the foreword to the book that he "prays that God uses this tool to equip and release hundreds of worship teams into their fullest destiny.” Wayne is available one weekend a month for worship concerts and seminars.
